Celts painted their bodies with blue war paint before going into battle--our version is a little more tame.

The shirts had to dry for 4 hours. Gem says that she is the Warrior-Princess Bodacia (led Celts in battle against Romans and had beautiful, long red hair). Shakespeare is just glad to be able to swing his ax around and make menacing noises.

I love this project! It's the perfect way to study Celtic history. I love the way Gem wanted to be a warrior too. She is so cool. I want your source for this project. I copy all of your best ideas.
