The week of Christmas marked the first of three in our winter break from school. Two of those weeks were spent visiting family and celebrating Christmas and the new year, but this week was our recovery week. No suitcases, no school, no obligations.
Next Monday we begin school again. We're trying a year round school schedule this year--9weeks on, 3 weeks off. So far I like it okay. This break felt harried with all the travel. I'm really looking forward to the next three week break. The last one we took was two weeks at home and one at the beach. That was perfect. I got all kinds of things done during the two weeks and finished off with major relaxing. In the meantime, though, we have 9 very full weeks ahead of us.
