Politics for Moms

My cousin, Natalie, started yet another blog. She resisted for months, but finally succumbed. So, especially if you are a mom, check out the new blog page: Politics for Moms.

This site is for every mother who has ever felt guilty for voting without really being informed. You see, we mothers have time for things like changing diapers and engaging in pressing issues like the virtues of Dora vs. Sesame Street. We use our extra time to fuel our own passions, like photography, reading classics, eating chocolate and talking with someone who uses correct tenses for irregular verbs.

Unless our particular bent is toward politics, we let that information bypass our brains, all in an effort to avoid overload. Avoid no longer. Natalie has compiled information for us. We don't have to search news sites, newspaper articles, or even turn on the T.V. We can go to Politics for Moms and gather well-rounded information that will quench that guilty feeling and set us on the road to being well-informed voters.

If you're not interested in politics and don't really care about checking out Politics for Moms, do it anyway. I did the banner design!!! (nothing like giving yourself props) and I'm working on a button for the side bar with HTML text that people can paste into their own sidebar. I really want to show off. I'm excited to brush the very thick layer of dust off my design skills and engage in it once again. So, if not for the sake of politics, but just for the sake of my pride, check out Politics for Moms.
