Drive Through-A-Doodle-Do

Today after church we went to Panda Express for lunch. We all had a chicken dish of some sort and expected to see the cooked version on our plates. What we didn't expect was the freak appearance of live chickens outside the restaurant window.

I didn't think to grab my camera (repaired and returned) and take a picture through the glass until they had strutted away, but couldn't resist going across the parking lot to snap a shot of the rooster and hen going through the Biscuitville drive-through. So ironic that they would choose a fried chicken place.

Besides the rooster to her right, notice that Gem is posing beautifully for the camera.

We think that the house through the woods has a coop and the birds escaped from there. At the far end of the parking lot there were about 12 other chickens.

It must be cheaper to just let your inventory run free outside than to pay to run the freezer:)
