Yesterday, we went to a friend's house and had a 17-kids-decorating-gingerbread-houses party. The kids loved it. Popcorn really got into it and sat there for and hour and a half, covering every square inch with icing and candy. I forgot my camera and have yet to get the pictures from the friend who graciously let me borrow hers.
In the evening, our neighbors brought over pizza and we ate together and decorated sugar cookies. That was quite enough decorating for the day and quite enough sweets too. I imagine that visions of sugarplums were dancing in my children's heads all last night.
