In the past, we've kept the truck outside during the warm months to accommodate all the kids' toys. When the colder months come, we haul the toys to the shed or the attic and make room for the truck, wedging the bikes in between both vehicles which makes getting into the cars like navigating a mine field.
A few weekends ago Jon decided that he was through with the cluttered mess and boldly declared that he would scrape ice rather than look at it any more. So the truck will be outside permanently.
We found the industrial shelving that has been collecting dust in our attic and lowered it to the garage floor. We also cleared out a good portion of our attic extras.
Why say anything more? The picture will speak for me.
Camping, beach stuff, Christmas decorations and the umbrella for our patio set on top, camping gear in the middle; paints and misc. on the next to bottom shelf; and the wagon, bike trailer and a few bikes underneath. Hang a few bikes from the ceiling, move some brackets around, reposition the equipment holder and voila!!! An uncluttered, beautiful sight.
Here, have a closer look.
Ahhhh! Feels good doesn't it.
