Tut Tut

In school this week, we're learning about ancient Egyptian history. The kids would like to share about what they learned:

"A red crown king and a white crown king fighted and the white crown king won. His name was Pharaoh Menes." Shakespeare

"Farmers lived by the Nile River. They were happy because there is a kind of dirt called silt in the bottom of the river that got on their fields when it flooded each year." Gem

Here is Pharaoh Menes (or Narmer), previously the white crown king, on his throne with the double crown--red and white combined.
