Rollin' in the Dough

My kindergarten teacher gave my mom a wonderful recipe for an all-American favorite: Play Dough! So, due to the heat wave that has only let up a little bit, here is the recipe so you and yours can enjoy playing inside (adults can do this too).

Tracey's Play Dough

2 C. Flour
1 C. Salt (no, that wasn't a typo)
2 T. Powder Alum
2 C. Boiling water
2 T. Oil

Mix flour, salt and alum together. Make a hole in the center. To the middle, add water and oil. Mix with spoon until well blended then take off your rings and use your hands (if it's cooled enough). Split into sections, add food coloring to each lump and kneed until blended. Play!!!

My boys decided that the large chunks were perfect for bowling pins and bowling ball. What will you make?
