Visitors

This weekend we had some last minute visitors--the kind who call two days before they come and show up at 2:30a.m. I would not let just anyone do this. You see, this person loves my kids like they were her own. Well, she can claim some ownership. She also loves me almost as much as I love her. And she can make a mean cup of Oolong and quote Jane Eyre--not passages, but the entire book (Ok, I exaggerate).

Now, if you haven't guessed already, here she is...



Nope, it's not me with long hair and not 8 months pregnant. It's my sister, Emily!!! She and her fiance stopped by overnight and Friday morning on their way to a wedding in SC. They will be back through late tonight and leave tomorrow afternoon for Kentucky. The whirlwind trip doesn't afford much visit time, but it's a treat to see them even briefly. Next time we see them it will be on the way to their wedding (May 15th)! Maybe I'll remember to take a picture of both of them on their way back through.
