At 1:30 today Gem officially started piano lessons with Mrs. Little. We will be enjoying beautiful scales pretty soon. In the meantime, we have 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and Back Down A-gain, quite a lovely beginning.

That's great that she is starting piano. Erin,didn't you play some kind of horn when we lived in Ohio? Maybe not. It just seems like you played something other than piano for a bit. Do you guys have a piano?

Played (if you can call it that) the coronet--small trumpet. I wanted to play the sax, but it was too expensive. Grandma paid a pretty penny to re-plate someone's old coronet and I played it for one year. Thanks, Grandma and sorry. Dad's favorite piece was, "Blat and blurt".
