How Do Your Kids Earn Money Outside the Home?

Yesterday I blogged about how young children can make money outside the home. But now I'd like to ask you: what are some employment opportunities that your kids have done? I'm not thinking about a job for a 16 year old: think 10 and under.

Great questions! I loved your blog. The different things to think through in planning/creating jobs was excellent.

Thanks so much for sharing! I have five children and would love to see them have some work related opportunities.

My friend came up with a brilliant idea for her 9 year old daughter! She's having her plant starter plants of broccoli, cabbage, tomatoes, etc....then she can sell the starts to people like me...who have a hard time finding good quality ones in a small town. I thought it was a great idea!

When my kids were young, starting around the age of 4 on up, they would help weed their Grandma's garden, rake the yard, and other light duty yard work. I personally use to help a couple of my Aunts clean their houses by doing light duty house work such as, dusting, vacuuming, etc.

Your kids are so intelligent. You are doing an amazing job raising your family and with home schooling!

Great job with your blog!
