Mummy's Little Egyptians

Our crowns from the Old Kingdom of Egypt are a thing of the past. We've moved on to the Early New Kingdom of Egypt, also known as Egypt's Golden Age. In this period, Pharaohs and their families were buried in the Valley of the Kings, intended as a safer place than a pyramid, which was known to robbers. Tut's tomb was so wonderfully concealed that no one found it until 1922. His famous solid gold burial mask was our inspiration for creating these museum quality reproductions.

First, shred newspaper.

Second, paste (flour/water/salt) it to a balloon. Remember to add facial features.

Third, paint many bright colors.

Fourth, put on your mask.

Hey, those Ancient Egyptians look a bit familiar.
